Welcome back!

I have found some great books that I will be reviewing in the next couple of months.  I always loved to read everything about a subject so this is going to be fun for me.

The first and second book are by the same author Margaret  Shepherd,  “The Art of the Handwritten Note” “and “The Art of Civilized Conversation”

The first book intrigued me because I love writing by hand, even if my handwriting is not so great. There is something to be said about receiving a handwritten note from a family member or a friend. It just touches your heart to know that someone took the time to write by hand. So I will be getting and reviewing that book soon. Also, I will hopefully learn some more about the art to put to use for this society.

 

 

 

 

The next book, “The Art of Civilized Conversation”    caught my eye because it would be a great addition to the series on the Lost Art of Conversation.  Since learning how to converse with others is not an exactly taught,  one must find and learn how to converse themselves.  I know that I definitely need help with my conversation skills being an introvert.   Again, I will give a book review in the next couple of weeks.

 

 

 

 

I hope these books will help you as you explore the lost arts with me, and guide you to finding a hidden gem of the past.
